At Bared, we want your shoes to serve you for many years to come. However, it's important that we provide you with a solution for conscious disposal for when your shoes are sadly no longer fit for wear. That's why all our stores are home to a shoe recycling drop-off box.
Looking after our planet is a team effort, so we encourage visitors to drop off any brand of shoes, Bared or not.
Since 2010, we've helped Australians recycle 26,960 pairs of well-loved shoes thanks to our partnerships with Australian shoe recyclers, Save Our Soles. You can read more about our partnership here.
Now thanks to TerraCycle, we are able to offer visitors to our New York City store the chance to do the same.
Simply drop off your well-loved shoes in our TerraCycle Zero Waste Box™, and they will be collected, processed, and recycled into usable materials by TerraCycle's specialised recycling factories.
