The Sanderlings are fitted with our famous footbed so you’ll be in maximum comfort all day long. Made with a hidden fiberglass shank to promote flex through the forefoot. This season's colours have also been updated with a thicker rubber sole for additional comfort. You’ll love the adjustable ankle and midfoot strap as you’ll feel secure on your trek from the beach to bar. No more clawing toes!
What Is Natural Rubber?
We’re so glad you asked because these rubber shoes are one of a kind. Not only good for your feet but also kind to our planet. The Sanderlings are crafted with natural rubber that is FSC certified.
Sourced from hevea trees, that produce natural latex in their sap. To harvest the sap, some of the bark is carefully exposed so the latex runs freely down the tree which is then collected in a container. This also means the hevea trees aren’t cut down and can be harvested for many years. Making this a renewable resource.
Bundled With Care
We wanted the Sanderlings to have their own unique packaging. They will arrive to you bundled in their very own (very cute) pouch made from GRS-certified recycled plastic. Each pouch saves eight plastic bottles from entering our ocean. Take it with you to the beach or use it during your travels as a cosmetic case. Re-use and re-purpose this handy little pouch!
