WHAT:

Adhesives refers to any substance that bonds two materials together, such as glue, paste and films.

WHY:

When it comes to the production of shoes, adhesives are crucial to fuse various components together. We utilise water-based adhesives and raw glue whenever possible due to their environmentally friendly properties.

However, not all of our adhesives are readily biodegradable, which can lead to pollution of both air and water during the manufacturing process.

WHERE WE ARE HEADING:

We have established a partnership with leading material innovators to conduct extensive testing on their cutting-edge fully biobased adhesive for use in our footwear production.

Our ultimate goal is to completely eliminate the use of any non-biobased adhesives in all of our products.

USED IN:

All shoes we produce. Types of adhesives used range from polyeuthrane films, water-based adhesives, synthetic glues, polyurethane glues and raw glue adhesives.
