8/20/2026
What does it mean to be a Dad? It's not just bin night and teaching you to parallel park. This Father's Day, let's celebrate the dads in our lives with something they truly deserve - a pair of shoes that love them back just as much as they love you.
We sat down with three dads and their kids to talk about what makes their bond one-of-a-kind and how becoming a father changed the way they see the world.

The Stylish Dad: Dirk and Albie
Dirk is dad to son Albie and daughter Agnes, and is rarely spotted out of his signature 1940’s-inspired suiting - even at the playground. So when it comes to footwear, Dirk leans towards more classic styles that double up in comfort and wearability.
Q1. What big shoes do you have to fill as a Dad?
To teach my kids to be confident and unapologetically themselves, and never change for anyone. Also how to iron.
Q2. What has surprised you most about fatherhood?
Kids are a mirror, often what you put in is what you get out, so choose your actions wisely.

The sacrifice. No one tells you about that! It really makes me even more grateful to have had the parents and childhood I did growing up.

Mum was right; we do have food at home.
