The Bared Team’s Holiday Style Guide
12/10/2024
The silly season is upon us and we couldn’t be more excited.
We caught up with a few of our team members to find out how they’re planning to celebrate in the lead-up to the end of the year —and, of course, how they’ll be styling their favourite Bared shoes for every occasion.
From catch ups with friends to weekend getaways, here's a look at the Bared crew’s plans and their go-to holiday looks.

When I think of the perfect weekend escape, these are my go-to picks for effortless style and practicality. They’ve got everything I need to feel polished while staying comfy and carefree. My go-to sandals this summer are the Lari Dark Tan Leather Chunky Sandals which are my absolute favourites. They’re comfy enough for all-day exploring but also stylish enough for a smart-casual dinner out.

The Lithium Chocolate is a versatile summer shoe, perfect for hitting up the pub on a Sunday. You can dress it up or down for any occasion, pair it with shorts and a t-shirt or pants and a shirt. The tan colour also goes with everything - cream pants like in this outfit, but also navy, brown and black. I chose this outfit because it's getting hotter coming into summer and I don't want to melt - all these pieces are lightweight and breathable.

The Cygnet Sandal is my go-to summer shoe, with the mid-foot strap offering stability and full adjustability with the hook and loop on all straps. I have styled it with my current fave Spell White boho dress and reusable shopping tote for solo days in Fitzroy, exploring the craft and 2nd hand shops or eating yummy foods.

The Silver Falconet high heels are my go-to as the weather gets warmer. I am planning on wearing them to a friend's Christmas lunch with the girls at Carnation Canteen. I’ve paired them with my fav jeans and red top and bag for a light summery look. The silver and pops of red are perfect for a festive look - and the shoes are so so comfortable!

I chose this outfit because it’s a light and airy summer outfit perfect for Saturday Brunch with my girlfriends. The Firecrown 2 Flats in Silver add a pop of fun and sophistication which elevates the overall casual look. I’m always drawn to sustainable fashion as it aligns with my values of reducing environmental impact while still looking stylish. The perfect blend of fashion and responsibility for a relaxed, feel-good outing!

I'm wearing my Eyas Low Heel to drinks with the girls. They’re such a great capsule piece that pairs well with so much in my wardrobe. I love the pointed toe and buckle detail—it adds a bit of sophistication that’s subtle but impactful. Whether I’m going for something dressy or keeping it more relaxed, these shoes are the perfect touch to complete my look.

The Surfbird Lipstick Red Mesh is my go-to summer flat - they're ridiculously comfy, so they take me from 9-5 and beyond with ease, but they're also such a statement and can top off any look. I live by the Vivienne Westwood mantra "spend more, buy less" so I look for high quality investment pieces that I can wear for years. I also love to support sustainable Aussie brands, so you'll always see brands like Bared, ELK, and Bassike in my wardrobe rotation. I’ll be wearing them vintage shopping with Bottomless Aperol Spritz after!
1. Stripe Boatneck Long Sleeve T.Shirt, Bassike | 2. Afghanistan Maiwand Necklace, Pippa Small | 3. Denym Skirt, Elk | 4. Cloud Collection, Fluff | 5. Antonia Bag, Yu Mei

I would be layering this cozy, quietly festive look to head to my favourite downtown dive bar in East Williamsburg in the days leading up to a white Christmas in New York. This look will be perfect for insulating myself against the New York snow and ties together the black and timber tones of the Lutetium dress shoe.
