After years of requests, our brand-new Brisbane store takes up residence on Wandoo Street in Fortitude Valley. Designed to be a true showcase of the Bared brand, the newly developed boutique features two colossal arches centred in the space. Inspired by Brisbane’s iconic James Street precinct, the interiors include timber panelling, polished concrete flooring and impressive greenery throughout.
From architectural sights to a relaxed yet inviting atmosphere, we’re all about creating a good time and it doesn’t stop there. Our fitting experience is like no other and worth a visit in-store to see first-hand.

Custom Fitting Experience
Our team of experts are everything from fitting to styling gurus, you’ll always leave our store feeling absolutely happy with your new purchase. We’ll take you through our entire range, measure you up and custom-fit your shoes with the different fitting options to suit your foot type.
Designed to feel like you're walking on clouds, our entire range is fitted with our unique biomechanical footbed to ensure all-day comfort and support. The best part? With the help of The Fit Kit, you can adjust the fit to suit your foot type.
Whether you have wide feet or bunions, we’re here to help. If the shoes are feeling too snug, simply swap the standard footbeds for the thinner footbeds. This will give you more space in the shoes and extra room to wriggle your toes.
Too much movement, slipping at the heels or in-between sizes? We’ve got something for those narrow profiles too. The green forefoot padding in The Fit Kit will easily fix this! Simply remove the footbeds in the shoes and insert the padding (green side facing down) and place the footbeds on top. This will help pad up that extra space through the forefoot and will also push your foot back into the heel counter to minimise any heel slip.
Men’s Portugal Range
Comfort is our thing but so is giving you quality footwear that has less impact on the environment. In recent years, we began manufacturing some of our men’s styles in Portugal as they utilise timeless techniques and premium materials that we know you’ll love.
All our shoes are handcrafted from Leather Working Group (LWG)-certified leather to help reduce the environmental impact of leather production. To provide premium footwear, we utilise Blake Stitching or cement lasting to construct our men’s shoes.
Our made-in-Portugal styles are also fitted with a sugarcane footbed, which is a fully renewable resource that relies on rainwater to thrive (not irrigation). We have incorporated vegetable tanning into 60% of our range, this means natural materials such as fruit and tree bark are used to dye the leather.
Men’s Boots
Everyone needs a winter staple and a classic Chelsea Boot stands the test of time. Take it from menswear stylist, Shaun Birley. All-around legend and long-time Bared wearer, Shaun popped into our Brisbane store for the ultimate Bared experience.
He simply couldn’t walk away without the Thallium Chocolate Suede Boots. Perfect for the office, bar or a casual weekend, the Thallium is one to add to your rotation.
Also available in Chocolate Leather, Tan Leather and Black Leather so you can choose the right style for your wardrobe.
Men’s Casuals
Dress it up or dress it down in the Electrum 2 Black Leather Loafers. Formal or casual? Yes to both! Shorts and a tee? Absolutely. Jeans or chinos? Of course. After being fitted for men’s boots, Shaun set his sights on a casual loafer. Whether you’re at the boardroom or the beach, socks or no socks kind of guy, a men’s penny loafer is the ultimate versatile shoe.
Men’s Sneakers
Get inspired for your next euro trip with Brisbane’s finest, Larry Lim. He knows everything when it comes to travelling light and he couldn’t go passed the Caesium Ecru Leather Men’s Sneakers. Featuring a classic Derby-style lacing system and leather panels for subtle contrast, this is the go-to men’s sneaker for a casual Saturday or taking in the sights. It ticks all the boxes for a comfy, casual look and this men’s sneaker is one Larry regularly steps out in.

Taking Care Of Your New Shoes
Speaking of shoe needs, leather shoes require a little TLC to keep them in tip-top shape. Straight from the box, we recommend giving them a good spritz with a waterproofing spray to help protect the leather from rain, dirt and scuffs.
