Our On-Loan Service FAQs

I've requested some 'On Loan' pairs. What happens next?

The additional pair(s) will be sent out to you as soon as possible. You'll receive tracking notifications once the ‘On Loan’ pairs have been dispatched. Hold onto any other Bared shoes you have for now, until you finalise what you would like to keep.

Once your ‘On Loan’ shoes arrive, we encourage you to try them on and walk around to see how they fit. Please wear your shoes around the house first, as we can only accept returns for shoes that are in ‘as-new’ condition. Compare the ‘On Loan’ sizes/styles with the shoes from your original order and try all the fitting options provided, to help you find the perfect pair.

I’ve decided which pair(s) I'm keeping/returning. What should I do now?

No Price Difference?

If there's no price difference owing on the pairs you're keeping, there'll be a return label provided in the shoebox with the 'On Loan' pairs.

Please use this to return the shoes back to us.

If there's a Price Difference

Step 1. Reach out to us

If there's a price difference owing, please reach out to our Customer Service Team via Live Chat or Phones +61 3 9509 5771, so we can process the difference and provide you with a returns link to create your return label.

We send all orders in compostable shipping bags, to minimise our environmental impact. These compostable bags can be re-used for your return, so that our Bared shoe boxes stay protected in transit. Simply pop your boxed shoes in the compostable bag and peel off the second sticky strip to seal the parcel.

Step 2. Add the return label & send

Stick the return label on top of the original label (when using the re-usable post bag) and take the parcel to the Post Office.

Once we receive your shoes at Bared HQ, we’ll process the exchange for an alternate style you have chosen, offer you a store credit for the amount paid plus a bonus of AU$50 additional credit OR refund for the return of any full-priced purchase only.

If you purchased your shoes at a discounted price or during a sale, we'll issue a store credit for the amount paid. Once processed, we’ll email your new receipt to you.

Store credits can be used in-store or online, and they don’t expire! If your purchase is available for a refund, it'll be refunded to the original payment method.

Please note, if you purchased using a gift card/store credit, the funds will be returned back to the original credit.

If you've purchased a ‘final sale’ item, no exchanges or returns will be accepted.

What if I need to return multiple pairs?

The ‘return to sender’ parcel label covers up to 22kg per parcel, so multiple packing boxes/satchels can be taped together (securely!) to create one single parcel. We do this all the time and it works like a charm. Please ensure none of the original labels addressed to you are visible.

Please note:

If you're creating your own label via the return label link we send you, please don't print the same label for use on multiple parcels.
